1. Long-blade freediving fins / or a monofin.
2. Low-volume mask and snorkel.
3. Weight belt.
4. 5mm Semi-drysuit or thick (5-7mm) wetsuit with a hood.
5. Gloves and booties.
6. Freediving computer / or basic scuba dive computer.
7. Safety dive knife: To free yourself from netting or fishing line.

But if I just want to snorkel?

Then you won't need more than mask, snorkel & fins
